I ended this school year just as I started it…with a road trip down I-80. My roommate Nalani’s birthday is this week so Emily and I are spending the week in Reno with her. From Salt Lake to Reno is quite literally a straight shot down the interstate. 
Upon entering Nevada we were instantly greeted by a Casino…it’s not just Vegas.
Nevada: More slots than people?
I imagined the scenery on this road trip consisting of nothing but desert and expected to see little lizards running all over the place; it wasn’t really like that though. In fact there was actually some pretty cool stuff along the way.
I wasn’t kidding about the slots thing…but really slots, beer and a cafe-what more could a girl ask for?
I drove the last 2 1/2 hours or so of the trip to Reno on about 3 hours of sleep. As you can see there wasn’t a whole of scenery to keep my attention so I had Emily put in a CD and turn up the volume and we rocked out.
