Day 24: A Picture of Something You Wish You Could Change
No, I don't want these little children to change, I think they're absolutely adorable. In fact, I wish we could all be more like them; just full of love. I know is super cliche to say that I would change the world and have everybody love each other but its true. I wish we would all stop looking out for numero uno and start caring about each other. And not just your best friends or family members but everyone; even the people you don't think you'll ever be friends with...who knows they may be your future best friend.
I'm just as guilty as the next person but I don't understand why we always have to put people down. It's as though everything is a competition and in order for us to win everyone else has to loose. Really though, isn't a victory so much sweeter when you have someone to share it with.
If we started treating everyone like potential victory partners (the way we treat our friends) everything would just be so much better. If we all just sent a smile to the stranger we pass on the street, or sat with that person at lunch who no one else will sit with. If you try and find the beauty in someone you will succeed, because there is something special in all of us. And then EVERYBODY truly wins.
Never look down on someone, unless you are helping them up.
