not to get all religious but...

i'm sorry i've been neglecting the blog lately

i've just been busy with school and stuff

but i wanted to get on here and share a little something

this semester i'm taking the second half of the book of mormon

i walked into class all excited about it and then my teacher dropped a little bomb on us:

"you have until the 18th to read from Alma 30 through Moroni 10"

for those of you who dont know what that means, it's 2 weeks and about 250 pages of scripture. that's 18 pages a day!

i'm about a week and a half in and it's definitely been an experience. but anyway last night i was reading 3 Nephi when JESUS comes to visit the americas. and what i read brought tears to my eyes:

JESUS was preaching to a multitude and then told them he had to leave...and this was the response:

"And it came to pass that when he has thus spoken, he cast his eyes round about again on the multitude, and beheld that they were in tears, and did look steadfastly upon him as if they would ask him to stay a little longer with them."

-3 Nephi 17:5

just though that was beautiful and somewhat...poetic.
