Every year a church in my small town host a family carnival all Memorial Day weekend. There’s rides, games and delicious food and everyone helping out is from around town. It’s great. And every year I bring my little brother-because it usually falls around his birthday.
{I just love how old fashion the feel of the whole thing is}
1. Tickets! $1 a piece…whaaa? 2. Fried ice cream-which they were out of boohoo! 3. Cotton Candy! 4. I was tall enough to ride…thank goodness!
I was SOOO close to winning a prize…and when I say so close I mean within centimeters! {p.s. this picture totally made the cut because I like how my butt looks in the shot on the left}
I did however totally win a prize by knocking the 3 milk bottles down…purple dice for my car mirror. Oh yeah!
The Super Slide is my favorite of all the rides and the only one I rode. I just keep doing up the stair and down the slide. The ticket lady said she loved me and the guy at the top kept laughing and was like “I see you’re having fun”…”Why yes I am, thank you very much”.
These pictures also tell you a couple things about my little brother:
1. He has ridiculously long hair of Tom Brady proportions…that I hate. Can’t wait for it to be gone. 2. He has some excellent facial expressions 3. He is a terrible photographer…I went down the slide 3 times for him to take a picture for me and that blurry, barely recognizable thing there in the bottom right is me…oh well.
