Day 20: A Picture of Someplace You would Love to Travel
Yup! The whole world...you think I'm kidding, but I'm not. More than half of my bucket list is just a list of different places to visit. I haven't decided if this is the hardest day or the easiest day, because I want to travel everywhere. Here a few of the general places, in no particular order of desire. Australia: I have watnted to visit Australia since I found out it was a continent and a country (I guess my young mind thought that was really cool). My best friend and I have been talking about going forever and now we're getting serious about it. I mean, who wouldn't want to go down under-they have everything; surfing, attractive guys with awesome accents, kangaroos, amazing water, koala bears, zorbing, shrimp on the barbie , vegimite (whatever that is)..like I said everything.
Jerusalem, Israel: It's the Holy City. Jesus walked there. I gotta make my Pilgrimage. Plus, It's SUPER old and I love old stuff!
Rio de Janerio, Brazil: Mostly I just want to see this giant statue of Jesus up close and personal...but I'm sure there's other cool stuff to do.
Greece: For one, I'm Greek. But mostly I've always been fascinated by the beauty of the white buildings against the blue water and wanna see it in person...because pictures never do the scene justice.
Kauai, Hawaii: or just Hawaii in general. When I was a kid I wanted to live there, until I found out it was volcanic so I'll just settle for a visit.
Machu Picchu, Peru: I'm really into History (I already told you I'm a nerd) especially of ancient American civilizations and I think it would just be really awesome to take a look around this place.
Paris, France: It's the City of Love, duh (while I'm over there, Southern France doesn't look too bad either).
India: I have a good friend that I've had since 5th grade who is Indian (Preeyanka, she's totally awesome) and being around her family has made me more and more curious to visit this country. Different cultures fascinate me and India has such rich culture!
The Great Wall of China: Every since 4th grade when I was told it could be seen from space I wanted to stand on the thing. I can't imagine what would make me feel smaller that standing on 1 step of this massive, somehow man-made structure.
Well, there you have it. A quick glance into my travel aspirations. I'd also like to visit all 50 states and see some things alone the way (Mt. Rushmore, Niagra Falls, The Grand Canyon, ect). I'm sure it will take a lifetime to cover all of this if I'm lucky, but a girl can dream right? Just gotta marry rich!
