Day 16: A Picture of Someone Who Inspires You
Yup, Rocky Balboa.The Italian Stallion. As I said on Day 4, I've been working out alot lately. My mother is on this fitness kick and somehow, from 2000 miles away, has brought me along for the ride. So I've been running alot and my goal is to be able to run a 5k without stopping (obviously I am not a runner). I go to the track as often as possible and run and when I feel like I can't run anymore and want to quit, I turn on "Burning Heart" (from Rocky IV-my favorite one) and think about my man Rocky running through the streets of Philly. The guy had a one and a million shot to become as successful as he did and he worked dang hard for it. Yes, I know, Rocky is a fictional character, but that doesn't make him any less inspirational. Plus, I've run up those steps to the Art Museum (one of my bucket list items) and it is understandable why Rocky felt like such a champ after that.
